Community Guidelines
BazooChat works because strangers give each other a fair minute. These guidelines exist to protect that minute. They are short, they are plain, and they apply to everyone on camera — no fine print, no exceptions for charm.
The Short Version
Treat the person on the other side of the camera the way you'd want a stranger to treat you in real life: friendly, honest, and quick to respect a "no". BazooChat is an adult space, playful and flirty is welcome — but adult audience never means anything-goes. If a conversation stops being mutual, it stops.
Welcome here
- Real, unscripted conversation
- Playful, flirty banter — while it's mutual
- Skipping politely when it's not a match
- Being yourself, on your own camera
- Reporting behavior that crosses the line
Not allowed, ever
- Nudity or sexual behavior on camera
- Harassment, hate speech or slurs
- Threats, intimidation or blackmail
- Spam, advertising or scam pitches
- Fake identity or impersonation
- Anything illegal — including involving minors
The Rules, One by One
No nudity or sexual behavior on camera. BazooChat is an 18+ service, but it is a mainstream social video chat, not an adult content platform. Keep your clothes on and the conversation decent — or take it elsewhere.
No harassment. If someone isn't enjoying the conversation, that's the end of it. Insults, pressure, repeated unwanted sexual comments, and refusing to accept a "no" are all harassment, whether meant as a joke or not.
No hate. Attacking people over race, religion, nationality, gender, sexuality or disability gets you removed, not debated.
No threats. Intimidation, blackmail, "I know where you live" games, and any form of coercion are the fastest way off this platform.
No spam. No advertising, no link-dropping, no funnels to other apps, no sales pitches. One match is a conversation, not a billboard.
No fake identity. Don't impersonate another person, don't use misleading media instead of your own live camera, and never misrepresent your age.
No illegal activity. Anything illegal in the real world is illegal here — and anything involving minors is the most serious violation possible and is treated accordingly.
What Happens When Someone Breaks the Rules
Every session gives you two tools: report and block. A report flags the behavior for review; blocking makes sure that person cannot match with you again. Reports are reviewed, and confirmed violations can lead to restrictions on use — up to losing access to the service. We don't claim around-the-clock or automated moderation; the system works because people like you use it. The safety page shows exactly where these controls live and the habits that make them second nature.
Why Bother With Rules on a Random Chat Site?
Because random matching only stays fun when the baseline is decent. The whole appeal of random video conversations is that anyone can appear next — and "anyone" only feels exciting instead of risky when the worst behavior gets shown the door. Rules like these are also what keep a 1-on-1 video chat feeling like a conversation instead of a gamble.
Guideline Questions
Is nudity allowed on BazooChat?
No. BazooChat is for adults, but it is a mainstream social video chat service. Nudity and sexual behavior on camera are against the rules and can be reported by anyone you match with.
What happens after I report someone?
Reports are reviewed, and behavior that breaks these guidelines can lead to restrictions on that person's use of the site. Blocking them at the same time guarantees they cannot match with you again.
Can I pretend to be someone else?
No. Fake identity — impersonating another person, using misleading photos or pretending to be a different age — is not allowed. Be yourself; that is the whole point of video.
Is joking around with strangers okay?
Absolutely — playful, flirty, funny conversations are what BazooChat is for. The line is the other person's comfort: if they are not enjoying it, ease off or skip. Persistence after a clear no is harassment.
What if someone breaks the rules with me?
Skip out of the session, then report and block. You never need to confront anyone or explain yourself — the tools do the work.
